The hatchlings are DEFRA certified as being UK bred. I am always available through email for ongoing advice to anyone who buys from me. If you want to be considered for this year's hatchlings, please e-mail me with your request. I prefer to sell the babies in pairs where possible for life-time companionship, but if you only want one that is fine; as long as you don't try to introduce another one later on as this can be very stressful for an established tortoise to have a new comer enter its territory.
Tell me a bit about yourself and what sort of a life the tortoise will hope to have whilst in your care. I do not sell to people overseas, agents or dealers. Please remember that they can live for a hundred years, so think carefully about the level of responsibility that comes with owning this kind of pet. New owners who are members of/people who are joining The Tortoise Trust or The British Chelonia Group will be given priority. [see useful web sites].

We live in Hampshire and I would stress that it is important that you can collect from here, before commiting yourself to buying from me. I do travel to West Kent and Rutland to visit family, so if those places are down your way meeting up should not be a problem. I am not able to courier my hatchlings to you or have people visit my home.
