This is Noggin [on the right!] who was adopted by Helen in September 2007

This is Heather and John who purchased a couple of babies [just visable in their hands!] in 2007

This is a hatchling that is 6 weeks old and measures 4 cm and weighs 26 grammes.



These are Damson and Delilah who were sold to Judy a couple of years ago, with one of her adult tortoises in the background.

Here is [half!] a scaned image of the plastron.  This is like an individual fingerprint which is used for identification and it is worth carefully photocopying the under side of your hatchling as soon as you can to keep on record if it falls prey to theft. DEFRA request that the tortoise is microchipped when the plastron legth measures 100mm if it is to be used for re-sale. At which point a new certificate must be applied for.
